Haha! This is a bo liao entry I thought I could do up for some of you. It’s been years I host this blog, but I still receive questions from many friends. Why are they being “issued” weird-looking creatures display pictures when they leave comments on my blog.. and why is it that some (people like myself) have own personalized pictures/avatars/whatever you call that???
Gravatar.com is a globally recognized avatar based on the email address you entered, an avatar that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Since it shares the same user database as WordPress.com, and I chose this MonsterID Gravatar type in my WordPress Admin panel, thus, all the weird-looking creatures! Haha!
Simple steps to get yourself a globally recognized avatar now!
You just need an EMAIL ADDRESS! Haha! Simple rite!?
