Thanks to mylittlebow, I had a very personalised necklace made for my BFF, Miss Irony! 😀 As a professional online shopper, I’m very sure she knows where I made this necklace, so I’m not trying to hide where I made this at all. Haha..
According to her tee kee and want to be unique character, I assume she won’t mind owning a one-and-only personalized necklace of her name! But hor.. she is also damn concerned about her privacy, I don’t think she wants everyone along Orchard Road to know her name is June. So….. I made an IRONY necklace for her! Muahahaha…
About a month ago, I placed my order.. and about a week ago, I got it in my mail! Heh.. I gotta say, mylittlebow has been so so nice and friendly, that’s how customer service should be! They have listed different fonts, patterns and different customization provided. I could even add them on MSN to discuss on my personalized design. When I tried to ask the font name for one of the fonts, she sent me the whole full listing of font names for me to play around with on my Photoshop, even suggesting which font will look good on the necklace.
Ok, now that the gift has been settled, how am I going to “package” it up? You know.. 人靠衣装,佛靠金装,礼物也靠包装!^.^ First place that came to my mind.. Urban Write.
I’ve lotsa ideas about gift wrapping.. I want to do this I want to do that.. but I guess there isn’t enough time!! And problem is, I’m no expert when it comes to craft work lor.. I don’t even know how to fold a box.
Step 1: Google for “how to fold a box”
Step 2: Learn step-by-step and practise, practise, lotsa practise!
this is where all my junk mails and japanese magazines come into GOOD use!!
OMG.. ok, I’m tired. I almost want to give up and just fold her an envelope. NO WAY! Never say give up! Now I’m a master in folding boxes! Muahahahaha.. I thought one layer is too soft and filmsy, I shall make a double layer box. Make one with magazine paper first.. then layer up with the beautiful sheet of papers I bought. And yay! the box with a lid is done!!
Now, I also wanted to make a greeting card in scrapbook style, but I saw this card…… I couldn’t resist buying it! Haha!
It has got an ugly and traditional envelope, so I decided to make use of my remaining paper to enhance it!! Haha!! So here it is~~ my box, the card, and the envelope!! 😀
I hope she likes the gift!! 😀

Month of May has past, and don’t you find it weird, why didn’t I complain about body aches and salon pas at all? Haha.. because I didn’t go for sundown on 29th May! Boohooo~ four of us signed up for the run, but none of us went. Ok, I admit, the lazy “genie” in me was a bit happy, but the sporty one was disappointed too. lol..
Plans for the day changed drastically after I received that SMS. Pail and I headed town instead.. to look for more maxis. Haha.. and there was another mission. I’ve been surviving on a free radio/disc player my dad brought home years ago.. before that was an even more retro Panasonic radio/cassette player. Recently, the radio frequency got cranky, often switches to another channel on its own. Pail knew about it, and has been wanting to get me a new one. So, when we saw this great offer at Courts, a Philips radio/disc player with 2 speakers, he decided to get me one. Wow! This is the first time I own speakers besides those that came with computers, and what’s more, all these years on laptop, I don’t have any speakers! Black and sleek, cute yet classy!! Sweee boh? 😀 I love it so much, now I have a remote control to my standing fan and my music player , I feel so high-tech suddenly~~ MUhahahahahaahaha~~
On the same day, after we got the player home, we are meeting Odin and Yun for dinner at Happy Kampong. Heh.. Pail was going to Zouk with his friends, while I preferred to hide stay at home.. I knew every single time I step into a disco club, I regret that very minute!! Thus, to avoid further regrets, I’m sorry for not being spontaneous this time round.
“Happy Kampong” sounded so cool, I thought I was heading towards some rural area.. but to my astonishment, it’s at some very quiet KOPITIAM nearby!! Hahahaa… ok lah, according to Odinchoy’s Sedapsutra, Sembawang is then the more traditional and secretive kampong site.
来,流口水的时间到了~~ 我看了也饿!
Be prepared to see many food pix!
