CG gals have been talking about going on a trip forever, finally it has taken place!! It was meant to be a hoiday during National Day but got postponed to the September school holidays. The location was later decided to go Bangkok instead, so the guys didn’t want to go with us.. kekeke.. 😀 Oh ya, we created this hashtag “#CGgalsBKK” on Instragram, so I’m using it on Facebook and this blog entry as well. Hee hee…
There was a lil’ hiccups when buying flight tickets, there was a SQ promo to Bangkok at $200 plus.. but we only managed to grab two tix, so the gals had to split, MsIrony and I on SQ, while the sisters Yan & Yun are taking business class on Scoot! Haha!
Boarding the plane in the evening allows us to catch sunset on flight! Woohoo…
When was our last trip? It’s since 2006!! Gosh…… unbelievable~~~~ it was my first time travelling overseas to Hong Kong back then… haha..
Arriving at Bangkok airport, we met up with the sisters, and took a cab to our hotel in Sukumvit area. Aiyoh.. we really tio tok lor! 700baht for the cab ride, really.. people, if you ever go Bangkok, remember to request cab to go for METER… even at the airport, just wait till you find a cab driver who is willing to go by meter!
Anyway, see, this Dream Hotel very chio right? The lobby is very spacious and has got many beautiful furniture and sofas…

Ok, enough of hotel introduction, we are ready for SUPPER TIME!! Yan was reading a blog that introduces best wanton mee in Bangkok… hoho, so there we go to Thong Lo night market. It’s pretty accessible by BTS (their MRT in Bangkok is called BTS).
The night market isn’t huge, we found the stall within minutes!
This is the wanton mee we are talking about.. indeed SEDAP!!!! The fried wanton, the noodles, and the char siew especially… yummms!!!
Another menu item caught our attention, Rice noodles with Chicken drumstick and Shitake mushrooms… surprisingly good!! The rice noodles was the best I’ve eaten…
We didn’t venture out too far, since we are also tired from the flights, we called it a night. Walking back to Dream Hotel from Asok BTS station, we passed by this cute cafe called Holly Coffee. Been wanting to give it a try, but didn’t have the chance during this trip…
Not pre-arranged, we were dressed in white blouse! Haha.. this is called 默契!!
Good night to the first day… the shoppaholics are going to do some SERIOUS shopping the next day.
LINE Camera amazingly detected we were in Bangkok, and added frames when editing the pictures, once we are back in Singapore, those frames were gone!

Day Two
Rise & Shine! Hotel’s Breakfast Buffet wasn’t too bad, and we made our way out early so as to avoid the afternoon sun! It’s Saturday, we are on our way to the weekend market, Chatuchak! 😀
Exxxxxxxclusive picture here!!! MsIrony and me back in 2006, and NOW! Laff bah laff bah… Muhahahahahahahahahahahaahaha…..
Ok, I love this artistic angle MsIrony captured of me! I set it as my Facebook profile pic immediately! 😀
CGgalsBKK CRAZY Shopping starts right here!!!
We bought real leather belts here, and this old boss, he made us bracelets on the spot with the remaining leather too… how cool! So drooling over those leather satchels too…. 😀
We actually bought chestboxes, clocks and shades like no tomorrow….. lugged the heavy loots and walked the whole Chatuchak, I think I really lost a kg or more…
Poor little doggies and bunnies are being sold here too.. but the sellers made them look damn cute~~ photography not allowed, but I sneaked two pix here.. :p

Back in hotel to freshen up a bit, and head out for dinner again! Hahaha.. tak-glam photo! It was raining at Chatuchak, our feet got mud and rain.. but no time for shower!! =p
After all the shopping that made us felt damn good, we made ourselves feel even better… in BKK Chinatown! A lil hiccup along the way as the cab driver didn’t know the way, drove us around to and fro.. wasted so much time, we only arrived at Chinatown almost 9! Arghhh… shops all closed liao lah… didn’t get to buy bottles of bird nest..
Heng ahh! Dinner at T&K Seafood made us alive again!! And the roadside bird nest lagi best!!! We bought bottles of pomegranate juice back to drink for the next 2 days too.. haha!
Day Three
We need to take some OOTD shots… yes, we need to. HAHA…

Dunno why Bangkok coffee is soooo nice, especially those from the roadside kopi carts!!
It’s indeed GOOD MORNING COFFEE!!!
First stop of the day shall be, Platinum Mall!!! Only picture taken during shopping.. hahhaa because the sisters can’t decide which colour to get for this dress, so both of them tried on, and looked at each other, and comes out with the final decision. See, that’s the good thing about Sisters!! You can always try two dresses at one time!
Super shaggeddddddd from all the shopping for two days…… a foot massage is NEEDED!!!!! If time allows, I really want foot massage everyday!!!
More walking to be done… next stop, Siam Discovery Centre. Thanks to Google Maps, we made our way there without any difficulty.. Woohooo…
On the way..
This picture can sum up our trip, four gals, absolutely loving Siam!!
This shot is soooooooo funny lah… can’t help bursting into laughter at the gals! Ermm.. except that photo-bomber guy who appeared out of nowhere!

Tak-shiok dinner at one of the Thai food stalls, so we had our SECOND round dinner right after it! HAHAHAHA, I think we are really crazy. =p
Hohohoho.. another shocking pic. FACIAL TIME. ROFL~~~~~~~ at Yan, she wears specs while doing masks!!

Day Four
Terminal21 is located within walking distance from our Dream hotel, but we specially left it to the last day, so that we can stay around the hotel area after checking out.
Such a photography worthy place to be in, we went mad photoshooting….
Erm.. Breakfast. Yes, this is our first meal of the day. Running low in energy… we need some good food!
And continue with our photoshoot.
Wah! Giant Polaroid camera!!
Hello, Cupid.
Yan checking out nails, waiting at San Francisco~ 😀

We were having so much fun right!!!! Now as I blog, I look back at the photos, i keep laughing out leh… like a lunatic typing away on the keyboard, laughing at the monitor…
Thank you Yun for taking such a good jumpshot pic! 😀
Oh ya, one of the most important things to do at Terminal21 is to VISIT ALL THE RESTROOMS! Muahahaa…
In this pic, my arm was just resting in the air, there was nothing there, just a very nice wallpaper la… haha… look like real? 😉
Simply irresistible lah… full-length mirrors, and beautiful backgrounds.
Feel a bit hungry again.. heh… Yun has been exclaiming about Mango Sticky Rice since Day 1, and we haven’t had any yet, how can! And we also haven’t had enough of Pad Thai, Rice Noodles and Tom Yum Kung! Yan and I went a bit out of control, we had two bowls of tom yum noodles because it was toooooo slurping-nice!!!
Ok, some serious shopping to be done, so that we will not go home empty-handed!
We had to check in our HUGE clocks as Fragile items, and luckily there’s a wrapping service at BKK Airport!
At BKK Airport, sobs, sobs, can you see the 不舍 in our eyes and smiles?
Byebye, Bangkok.
Oh ya, we chanced upon this super nice rice-cracker snack at BKK Airport.. Tom Yam flavour de!!
There was a slight delay in taking off due to the heavy traffic in the runway.. so here’s Marley waiting with my red bags. Hehehe…
Boarded flight! Marley looking so excited at the SQ girl~~
LOL! I’m a Jetsetter! I guess.. that’s about it, dunno when will be my next trip… hmmmmmm….
It was such a wonderful getaway with the gals, and I really look forward to the next getaway soon!!
