Initially, we wanted to go to Luk Yu Teahouse at Central to yum zou cha for the day. But we were told their air-con was down, the old boss didn’t welcome us in, he said we had to wait for 2 hours to get a seat! What?! The teahouse was empty leh! Why don’t he let us in? We don’t mind the air-con~~ but I have no idea why.. >.< So that's the first meal of the day, LEMONS! Hahaa..
Opposite was another 茶餐厅~ but all soupy stuffs on the menu dun really attract me, given my heart is thinking all about 虾胶,烧卖,叉烧包!lol.. ordered a fishball soup in d end. To my surprise, their fishballs are reallly springy and tasty!! They have this 三宝 that Pail has ordered~ i dun rmbr wad are they exactly.. fish balls, meat balls and squid balls? Haha.. I only remembered mine was meatballs with wanton noodles =p~
We totally experienced the packed and quick lifestyle Hongkies, squeeze squeeze squeeze and rush rush rush! Haha.. they will not stand and wait for u to leave the table, the boss will ask customers to share tables~ known as 搭台 in Cantonese. Even the way they share tables is also something new to us. Normally we sit face-to-face, but boss will ask us to sit side-by-side instead, so that the 搭台 people can share the table! Hahaa.. it’s so funny and awkward to us, but probably something very common to them, the 2 OLs who shared the table couldn’t stop yakking even when we are quietly sitting right in front of them. LOL~~ Interesting.
休息是为了走更多的路,吃饱是为了逛更多的街!
The main reason why we are at Central… i.e. The 4-Storey H&M Store! 😀
Pail only managed to find a cardigan, while I got a dress, 2 tops for myself.. could have got more definitely. The jackets at H&M are sooooooooo attractive, I held back feeling worried about the overweight luggages. At the same time, the angelSuki beat the devilSuki in my head, exclaiming, “THIS IS A BUDGET TRIP! PUT THAT BACK TO THE SHELVES~~” Shopping was successfullly curbed to minimum damages. Hmmmm seriously, I think the real reason behind angelSuki’s victory, was because of the absense of an evil shopping kaki. (Yes, it’s you, Miss Irony!!). LOL!!
After which, we passed by a bakery shop, there I couldn’t resisssst EGG TARTS again~~~ Hee hee..
吃也吃饱了,逛街也逛够了,是观光的时候了。Find this overhead bridge verrry familiar? Another popular shooting location from TVB dramas~~~ lol! The ifc mall.. it’s like our convention centre, people in business suits will be seen walking to and fro the very long and wide overhead bridge rushing off to different places from this mall.
Across the bridge to another end..
JUMPSHOTS finally! Muahahahahahaha….
And Pail can’t wait to put on his new H&M cardigan! Haha!
Back at ifc mall, we wanna proceed to the next location on our itinerary. Pail’s colleagues called to have a conference call to discuss some work schedules for quite a while~~ =/ (Hope it isn’t too much damage on his next telephone bill!)
Ok, next on our list, to take the tramways.. u know those retro 电车? I also wanted to look for the famous Nee Soon Milk Company at Causeway Bay, but following the streetname/unit number I found online, I saw the signboard but I think it’s been closed down already?! Sad.. but because of this, we happened to see where and how to board on the tramways, as well as seeing MUJI / UNIQLO stores along the road! Hehehe.. 塞翁失馬,焉知非福 indeed! The $73 shirt dress I’ve been longing to get at Muji, I got it at $45! Woooohoooo..
On the tram.. woohoo.. I kept snapping non-stop, the passengers mostly old uncles n old aunties kept staring at me. =p The tram went from Causeway Bay 铜锣湾 to Happy Valley 跑马地. Another place I find it familiar from the TVB dramas.. haha.. so fun.
Wow, I saw Amigo’s house~~
We approached the bus driver to know that the HKG$2 we had paid for can allow us to sit all the way back to Central again. Don’t even need to alight the tram! So worth it and cheap, isn’t it?! Hahaa…
How about 一号皇庭? You sure can recognise this Lady of Justice statue!! We also saw some local graduates taking graduation shots in their robes there.. haha..
Have you watched 溏心风暴? The first episode on their family dispute scene was shot outside the court~! And ta-da~ there we are! HAhaahahaha…. call us bo liao or what, but we just had a great time visiting all these familiar locations! Haha!
Landscapes shot which I seldom attempt to shoot…
The sky seems dark, but it’s still early actually! We are going to The Peak. WOoooooo~~“ freaking cold up there!! Hahahaa.. We intend to have a little pre-celebration to Valentine’s Day, which falls on Chinese New Year this year. 🙂
Dinner was at The Peak Lookout.. Too bad the fog was really tooooo bad, we can’t see any night views on the peak, couldn’t sit outdoors in this case. What a waste!
But ambience inside was not bad afterall, in not for that bunch of ang mohs who kept exchanging hugs as a courtesy gesture. So noisy.. ergh, and the restaurant was fully booked, we can’t ask for a change of table! GRrrr…. Nvm, shut them off and enjoy our dinner bah.. hehe..
Food was good, I love the starter Cheeesy Nachos! =p And our main dishes.. the lobster rice was rather filling I couldn’t finish everythin, but Pail’s choice was good!! Hehee.. yummmmmmmmy and lovely night!! 😀
Up there, as expected.. we see NOTHING!! Hmmm.. it’s a pity I been to HK so many times, this is my first time at The Peak lor~~ and I see nothing! Never mind, this only means… I WILL BE BACK! Hahahahaa….. and before that, let’s make our way back to the hotel first lah…
Hahaha.. we return to the hotel feeling stuffed and full every night, that we don’t feel hungry for any cup noodles. But tomorrow is the last day lo.. we have to eat up these cup noodles we’ve bought earlier on! Haha.. Pail is having his onion chicken 满汉大餐 while I have my tomato soup based noodle instead.. hee… trust me, it’s just as good although it doesn’t have meat in there~~~ Yummmms~~
Coming up.. will be the last day in HK. Boohoooooo…
