I always welcome my friends to come for lunch on my workdays, it’s somethin to look forward to, and make any day less blue.

Miss Irony was clearing leave, so when she told me “Let’s meet for lunch on Wednesday!”, I immediately thought of WholeEarth. A vegetarian restaurant located right below my office building, but no one wants to go try it out with me! Haha..

The food is all so good. It’s Peranakan Thai Vegetarian food.. so we had Nonya Curry, and also their absolutely fragrant Olive Brown Rice and the Gigantic Fried Battered Mushrooms! Yummmmy la~~~~~~ all those who had the wrong idea that vegetarian food must be bland and plain, you r wrong!!! Hahaa.. 你们走宝!! Yet to receive her pix, so meanwhile here’s mine!!

They serve very very nice lemongrass tea!

And a unique starter appetiser~ as compared to the usual peanuts. ^.^

but we can’t eat yet as they don’t serve all the dishes together!

Total bill sums up to $52.. a bit pricey hor.. lunch for two. Hmmmm… cannot frequent, but how often does a best friend drops by to meet you for lunch? OK de lah!! Hehehe.. *winkz*

It was a packed day.. was informed that its also the co. year end party at night.. oh no, Pail and I had plans to make Potato-Apple Salad for our NYE countdown picnic! Hmmm gotta rush home!! Boo!! Hee.. but thks to my dear cousin HQ, she gave me that idea! Heh.. its my first attempt at it, I’ve totally no idea how many potatoes/apples to prepare.. do we boil the water first or potatoes together? do we peel the potatoes? apples will turn brownish n lose its vitamins if we cut them so early.. wad other seasonings besides mayo? how much to put? lol.. all and all, 安啦! it’s (Pail’s Mom)’s territory, we are stepping in.. haha!! From how many to throw in.. to how boiled they are.. to peeling them.. she probably can’t stand how slow we were, she took over with ease~ gao dim! Haha! Fortunately, at the picnic, the so-called crowd pleaser, “Potato Salad” didn’t displease anyone yet~~ hehe.. we juz added too many apples the next day, it became Apple-Potato Salad instead.. -_-”
