There are just many issues with here and there from the start to now.. thanks to my boss and company, I’m allowed to dunno-work-from-home-for-N-times, thus, being able to attend to such issues!!

Back to topic, now the flooring is not even between Bedroom 3 and Living Room!! The HDB contractor who did a cement screed for us before the hack, needs to re-do part of the floor to screed it evenly, so that we can do our Evorich flooring… but this HDB contractor uncle is such a bully! He is so fierce to all of us, yelling at us… blaming us why do cement screen before hacking the walls, bla bla bla… anyway, for two weeks, he dragged our schedule! GRrrrrrr….

Now, let me share one of our sibeh-cok-up-issues…
First, he agreed to re-do the cement screeding, so we asked my in-laws to go open the door for him. Who knows, he promised to turn up at 3, but kept our old folks standing there for an hour and only turned up at 4! Damn.. then, he did such a poor 10-min job, and left…. WT#*$%^%&^&! The flooring is still not even lorrrr!! Subsequently, we tried fixing various appointments with him, he never turns up the last minute and postpones our appointments…. Pail’s brother helped us deal with this for many times, and also wasted so much of his time… now that we have reached the stage that is critical, time is running out! We need him to do the flooring, so that Evorich people can come in the following week. From a Saturday, he changed to a Monday, and on Monday, he say not free again!! I really don’t know what to do with him too… I took leave away from work, and want to meet him, but he sent his worker instead, he said he needs his worker to “take a look”, dunno look what need to look so many times but no work is done, but thank god! When I met his worker, he was such a nice guy, he said Easy job! 没问题! He even promised he will get it done by the next day. Ta-da~ problem settled! Now Evorich people can come in to do flooring. I Know Right, AT LAST~~~!!!

In the meantime, on another thread, Mr K and Mr A sent me some pictures via Whatsapp… they have made good the hacked areas and started with cement works… woohoo…

What got me really excited is… how my bathrooms looked! Whheeeeee… *whistles*

The wall tiles should be grey in colour, but lighting made it look a bit different tho.. and whenever I see the hideous aircon trunking then i wanna sigh again.. so ugly! Cover that part don’t see, i love how everything look together, especially the wood tiles ~~ hehehehee…

For a second, I panicked… everything in the bathroom was removed, no toilet-bowls no wash basins no shower-heads… where are they??? Did they throw them away? Oh no! No no no no… they are quietly seated in the bomb shelter la! hahaha..

And I super duper LOVE my dream walls~~~~ white brick wall and 3D subway tiles~~ Wheeee…….

In Renotalk forum, I started a T-blog there as “hojichalatte”, the fellow bloggers in there are so kind and helpful giving me suggestions and tips.. I created this for the profile pic~ teehee….

The aircon trunkings (except bathrooms) and the Master bedroom wall are all box-ed up~

Shower screens up, I picked the L-shaped handle for Master Bathroom so that we can hang towel! Hee.. Common Bathroom can only go with sliding doors, apparantly, track is quite smooth. *fingers crossed*

Call us the green-est newbies in renovation… but we really didn’t thought of this.

Hahaha.. we asked K and A what they can do to prevent this bumping of handles…. A says he will get us a door-stopper. So we will wait for them to install it.. in the meantime, no one is gonna use the bathroom, so should be fine lah!

Almost missed out seeing this, service yard windows up too!

Ok, cement works are now completed, next up, Painting, Carpentry, Flooring all pending in the queue….
