When we first entered the restaurant, it’s a room by ourselves, with 2 long tables, and we see a menu card with our individual names printed, oh, that means we have to sit according to how they places the cards!
Enjoy the good food! Give it a guess, what’s this? Clue in next picture! Haha!
Plain Toast, Sourdough, Bacon toast and Orange sweet toast, in short, very yummy bread! You can choose unsalted / salted butter to go with different toast.
This is Maki of Smoked Salmon and Celeriac Julienne Wasabi Yogurt. I don’t appreciate smoked salmon, so I’ll say, it’s too salty.
Pan Seared Scallop with Bordier Seaweed Butter was not bad. The scallop is very fresh with some butter scent.
Steam Blue Crab on Lobster Custard Garnish with Caviar & Fennel Foam. This one gotta be my favourite of all, its AWESOME custard!!
Here comes the main dish, Angel Hair Pasta with Lobster Crispy Sakura Ebi & a Touch of Parmesan. The serving of the main course wasn’t too big, like a usual main course, but I am a fan of angelhair pasta, so I liked this too!
Lastly, the dessert served very beautifully. Candied whole Clementine with Panna Cotta and Sorbet on a light Earl Grey Jelly. The candied surface was abit crisp, and sweet, with a burst of orange flavour in the very-chilled sorbet. Lovely and sorted. 😀
Next, lucky draw time! I’ve got a YELLOW note, and it means I got the only HUGE xmas sock of CHOCOLATES!!! The biggest gift was a huge hamper, while the rest will go home with either Nothing, or a $50 Robinsons voucher. Alright, I shall be a contented gal and enjoy my sweet Christmas. 😉
Since I’m so full and sleepy after the three hours lunch, I decided to jump queue from all my backlogs and blog about this lunch here. Overall, the food here is good, but I’ll prefer to pop over to Aoki beside for Chirashi don during lunch time if I have an option! It’s still under the same Les Amis group anyway. Haha! Jap food still wins!
Maybe it’s the company I’m eating with. I used to go Aoki with Pail, and this lunch, I’m eating with colleagues whom I don’t really know. It’s weird to be seated with a bunch of people you do not know, but everyone else knows everyone there. Not because I’m new, but because, there’s this strange arrangement for our team to be sitted in another office. That’s why, the people from the main office do not know us. We are from there but we do not feel like we are from there. And being seated in another office, we do not feel like we belong to them too. That’s probably what you call “兩頭不到岸”!! 🙁
Anyways, enjoy the good food, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
