This is a way-back back-back-back-log!! Haha… we visited Osaka on the 7th Jan 2012, and I’m blogging 10 months later! LOL!! *slap forehead* Sooo glad I wrote on my iPhone during the trip.. Osaka is a bustling town man.. really crowded, and happening!! Haha.. we finally meet the Glico man.. Haa.. and Marley made a special appearance here too!!
Outside Namba Dotombori Hotel with their famous statues~~
Street outside hotel
Checked-in to our hotel, and was greeted with such warming welcoming gifts!! The receptionist handed me a pack of Shiseido goodies.. Cleansing Oil to Shampoo.. to Body lotion… Such a nice gesture. Omg.. and their bed is Serta brand!! Soooo comfortable~~~ but pillows can be much better tho.. hmmm.. wonder why the Japanese sleep on such flat pillows??
Next.. Shinsaibashi 心齑桥!!! My favorite shopping street, I think I don’t mind shopping up and down the street for the days! Just so many things to see, my favourite DRUG STORES, I can never get enough of them.
At Shinsaibashi, there are so many shopping to do, H&M was a two blocks mall opposite each other, we merely went in for awhile, and came out empty handed. So not exciting… I’m more interested in the drug stores 药妆店!! Having a great time comparing prices between stores… lol.. Hada Labo is damn cheap here!! Hohohoho… Ettusais is just one of the 开价items here!! Shiseido, Maquillage, Coffret… etc too!!!!! omggg… @_@ 眼花缭乱 is the best phrase to describe! This cleanser is only selling at $8, if not for the extremely high exchange rate, it can be way way cheaper!!
Walked around the town looking for a nice dinner place… trying to look for 西屋大阪烧, but settled for the very vintage looking 明治轩蛋包饭. This restaurant is there way back in World War 2 days, the boss insisted in cooking good food for the people..
They had this clothes rack beside each table for us to hang their coats, because especially winter, the indoors are so warm..very cool right….
While waiting for food, this is my 2 weeks old Shellac manicure, with the 2 weeks old wedding band! 😉
That’s us gorging the yummmmy omu rice!
Another close-up, I read from the guidebook, the sauce is made with red wine, great steak and onions for 2 days!
I thought this architecture looks very beautiful~ oh, so it’s a theatre!

Walking down the streets, I saw a GIANT Sushi!!
and also takoyaki 章鱼烧 for “desserts”! Super good lorrr!!! Can you see the octopus?
Back in hotel, let me recommend this Caramel Bakuchen cake to you, it is my new favourite cake!! We got this in the hotel’s vending machine, and it’s sooo freshly soft even though it’s from a vending machine! Unbelievable la~ I was still seeking for this after we came back to Singapore, but somehow, none of the cakes I’ve tasted (from Taka, from Muji) is good enough. Let me know if you tasted good ones in Singapore!
