A letter to the beloved…

Dearest Murphy,

Can you pls stop pestering me? Am I just so fated to have you in my life?!?

Why do I pick the same people in our co. gift exchange every year? Why does Aunty like to lose nothing else but my favorite pair of shorts? Why does the train fault and someone has to faint in the same train when I’m already running especially late tat particular day? Why do I go to Taipei and miss the 我猜 recording because their recording is gonna be one day after I leave? Why does the riots break out only after I booked my Bangkok trip? Why does the H1N1 virus situation worsen after I booked my HK trip?

MURPHY’s LAW.

Why on earth is there such a law? To make us feel better cos there’s an excuse when shit happens? Or to make us more gek sim because knowing his existence, there’s no way we can hunt this Mister Murphy down?!?

Oh man~~ for goodness sake, dear Murphy, just leave me alone and get out of my life!!!

third attempt publishing

Oh ya.. I hvn’t blog on this? :p i finally had this posted after 2 failed attempts! I wrote everything on train last week, but lost the entry! Damn..

Ok, It was supposed to be a very happy day buying my new toy, but on the way out from Expo, I realized I took so many emo pix!! Haha.. how come ahhhhh… i dun understand it either!

Back to color-colorful-world, dinner was a quick one at Soup Spoon, so that we could catch the movie on time.

The Informant movie. (is there a “The”? I dun rmbr la..) We’re so amused by how the director used very happy music for those scenes. You could really feel how big a “joke” Matt Damon is playing on everyone. Interesting. Its based on a true life story and book. I felt like reading it as I walked out from the cinema! Hmmm hold on, I’ve so many books I wanna read but yet to start on any!!

At the PAGEONE bookstore in Vivo.. Wooo.. very nice wall decor!! Does anyone knows how to make these?

After movie, Vivo Christmas lightings!! That’s the difference between DSLR and iPhone camera. You can take pix and enjoy the lightings with the later, but pix will never be as good as using the earlier!

We saw a new partyworld outlet at Vivo! Hoho.. it was only how long since the singing session on sunsetgrill night? Pail says he feels like singing again. haha.. so we went singing at Liang Court on the next day!!

Taking away at Tampopo Deli for lunch into Partyworld seems like a normal routine already? We don’t even bother to smuggle anymore. Haha.. Iced Coffee, Salad, Bonito Origiri, Spicy Roe Origiri..

To CrazyGangsters: It’s time to visit Partyworld again, many new songs are up already!!! Heh heh heh.. but too bad, the NorthPoint outlet is not open yet!

Coz we were back at ThaiExpress@NorthPoint for dinner with Pail’s family..

There is this very “funny” scene we saw at the basement carpark. Don’t ask me why they place a toiletbowl there! I duno if it’s functional or not hor~ LOL!

Ok, that very unglam toilet bowl shot marks the end of this very long weekend entry. But we’re gonna have another long weekend very soon!!! =D

Let me introduce to u.. Pail’s nephew, Jayden. 3yo. Isn’t he cute??

First time, I see wedding dinners issuing gift packs that contained candies and sticker/coloring books.. and kiddy plates to kids. Soooo very the considerate. But because they only gave a blue crayon, so.. Ben10 became BLUE.

This kid drank red wine and started singing.. and acted drunk! @_@

Jayden’s parents, aka Pail’s Brother and Sis-in-law. Ella-look-alike!!!

The "Sibeh Erickoh" Wedding of the Year

“All the Best 2005! Koh you there.”

Haha.. this is indeed a ‘sibeh erickoh” wedding dinner I’ve attended!

Firstly, it was at Sentosa. Secondly, it’s the first westernised wedding dinner I’ve been to. Everything is so different from those traditional banquets! We are eating the western 3-course-meal. Dessert buffet bar on the side where we can take home some in the pockets they’ve prepared for us. The bride need not go change into another gown.. The couple can sit down for their meal, and walked ard at ease to chit chat with their guests. Their best friends went up to give a heartwarming speech each. There was a wedding singer (Sugie from Superstar) by the side of the cosy ballroom, accepting dedications from the guests. Allan, Wendy, Siewying, Steven, Jenny and Baby Claire and myself were there.. witnessing the 好人 of our group getting married, finally meeting his gf who’s been in the fridge all this while. I would say we’ve enjoyed the great night n food!!
