A.P.A.D 05.07.2009 – 冤枉的脚踝

See my beautifully bandaged foot? Thanks, yunnies! She is PRO de lor!! Also thanks to the aunties staff at the Pharmacy, they are so helpful~ they offered a chair, and scissors, and let us do the bandage on the spot~ Hahaha… what a funny scene, too bad we didn’t capture it with camera! =D

Why do I say 冤枉的脚踝? Coz I was wearing flats, and walking on a very well-tiled flat ground in Science Centre.. lidat also can jek tio. What to do.. I don’ click that well with Science? >.<" Kekeke.. my ankle already feels better already. But I'm still on MC today. In case you are thinking why I am chao-keng-ing, let me explain! To go to work, I have 2 missions to accomplish. Mission #1: Stairs is a very challenging mission. :D Mission #2: MRT is not a dangerous place. :D So I decided to stay at home for another day! Muahahahahaha.... in a way, I avoided the detestable Monday Blues! UPDATES: Back from the doc.. haha! My doctor, she is funny de lor... like all my other friends, she guessed I must have sprained the ankle by wearing high heels. But she exclaimed another AIYO when she heard I was wearing flats. LOL~ Then she ask me to unbandaged myself to show her my ankle. -_-" But the recep staff still helped me with it la.. hehe.. Doctor taught me how to bandage it.. same as what Bro taught me last night.. tmr i shall try! Hee... Anyway, the doc gave me a 3-days MC. She say REST WELL, AVOID STAIRS, WALK LESS. :)

My First Yoga Class

Hee.. Today is my first session of Yoga.. HOT yoga.. @Bikram Yoga. When we first stepped in, the receptionist and instructor made us feel so welcomed.. introducing us to the environment, lockers, changing & bathrooms..

Stepped into the 40 degrees warm room, I felt like I was in the sauna. Plain sitting there and breathe, my sweat flowed like mad~ During the class, the beautiful foreign instructor (she is the one in the pic above) paid special attention to everyone, especially us. Haha.. maybe my chinese name was not easy for her, so the class kept hearing “June.. June.. June..” thruout the 90 minutes. LOL~ With her foreign accent, she corrected our postures.. guiding us to push more… Nice~ ^^

In fact, we did our best and did not give up on any of the postures.. we were told before the class, if we feel dizzy, we should just sit down and rest. But OK wor! Still can cope lah.. though I had some difficulty trying to balance standing with a leg over another!! *shaky legs*! Haha..

After the class, I was basically amazed with how “open” the ppl were. They simply get changed right in front of each other.. >.<" The beautiful instructor, she v.stylo.. she had a quick bath, got changed in front of us.. a black dress, a brown belt, face moisturiser, draw her brows.. flawless skin.. slim and toned body.. Stunning, can go clubbing liao! lol.. She chatted with us.. she says yoga shld be done everyday.. (what? everyday!?!), she even thought we were experienced in Yoga! Haha, it might be because this is our first lesson, enthusiasm at the peak, still can smoke thru la! Well well, I forsee I might be needing SalonPas tomorrow morning~ how to go EVERYDAY?! Heee... looking forward to next week's class already! For those interested, check it out at http://www.bikramyoga.com.sg

Recap: Defination of "Sibeh Erickoh"

ROFL~ LOL~

Out of boredom..

Really bored…

I digged out this frm one of the archived emails in my mailbox.

Hi Kohs,

Arising from my frequent use of the term “erickoh” recently, I have received many queries clarifying what it actually mean. As one of the founding fathers of this term, I feel obligated to explain how this term came about and how it should be used.

erickoh is, by far, one of the most versatile words in my vocabulary (losing out only to fcuk). The word erickoh is like a wildcard that can represent anything. Originally, this term came about because I had a friend who would always find excuses to miss gatherings or drink alcohol. It should not be a surprise to you that his name is eric koh. At some point, we just started to label all buay steady acts as erickoh. For example, when a person said he cannot drink anymore, we humiliate him by calling him an erickoh. When a person put aeroplane and cannot make it to a gathering, we say he erickoh us. Sometimes, out of boredom, we would say sibeh erickoh just for fun. (erickoh right?). Over time, we got more creative and came out with the official erickoh chant which goes like this:

erickoh ah yo ah yo

erickoh ah bo ah bo

erickoh ah koh koh koh

To make things more fun, we have since created some dance moves that goes along with the chant. I will try to organize for some kohs to demonstrate this dance and chant someday at MOS and see if we can make this one of those standard dance moves that regular cheongsters will recognize and know how to dance.

There are many circumstances whereby you can apply the word erickoh. I will quote you some recent real-life scenarios where those people involved are really erickohs. I have this colleague who carries a laser pointer but I have never seen him used it, not even when he’s giving presentations. Yesterday, I realized what he uses his laser pointer for – to easily pinpoint dishes to the auntie selling mixed-vegetable rice. Now, that’s erickoh. I met this guy in the gents and he stood at the urinal next to me (he’s not exactly next to me since I usually stand about 1m away from the urinal, too long lah, cannot blame). Guys just have this habit of spitting into the urinal before pissing, I don’t know why. So this guy spat and the next word I heard was “SHIT!” I knew without having to look that he had spat right at his own dick. Now, that’s erickoh.

I am in the process of finding out the administrative procedures to get erickoh recognized as a word in the Oxford and Longman dictionaries. Before that can happen, I will try to create a wikipedia entry and would also appreciate it greatly if any kind kohs can contribute some money for me to publish these information in the local newspapers to educate the general public. Please call 9-ERIC-KOH if you can help.

Koh Bless you,
Allan Koh

Let me provide another most recent instance… I have this friend who is discussing with me, where shall we dine at on Friday. So since I have an appointment nearby Bugis, I told him let’s meet at Bugis, easier for me to rush over. He replied me with “Katong HK Cafe” as his suggestion.. and all set, we are going to Katong. That’s Eric Koh!! Sibeh Erickoh, rte? 😉

I believe by now, u guys should clearly know what’s the meaning and how do we use this phrase, don’t u? =D
