Preparation work for a bbq session is never easy.. especially food for 20pax! I.. admit, I was never the one doing all the hard work. But I’ll try my best to participate as much as if I can…. things like pushing the NTUC trolley home.. LOL!

Disclaimer: No trolleys were stolen in the event of this BBQ Preparation, we returned the trolley to get back my $1 coin hor!

Very fortunately, we have Chef Wong and Chef Fu.. oh and he also happened to be the Photographer Fu. Haha.. and thanks to Chef Wong, I got to know about this “factory outlet”. It doesn’t sell apparels, it sells MEAT! Yea, early in the morning we made our way to Jurong and we saw all the richie rich people are shopping for meat there. Haha.. there was this richie rich lady buying over a hundred bucks of beef steak.

Back home, we got to rest a couple of hours before heading over to Chef Wong’s place to start the actual preparations. He gave the instructions, demonstrated once, then we follow. Haha.. I felt like I’ve returned to my Secondary School days Food & Nutrition class. Cleaning the prawns, preparing the chilli grilled fish and steak burger. Yums.

5.22 BBQ was as serious as it should be, with well-prepared meat and drinks.. and all of us were there. A bbq session is always fun because there’s LOTSA food, and you see all your friends gathered together.
