This is gonna be a very very very picture-intensive entry, because we had a very fun day!!
Miss Irony and I had sourced for dining places high and low.. and she finally suggested Taste Paradise, a recommendation from ladyironchef. Located at ION Orchard Level Four, I expect it to be VERY EXPENSIVE.. and better be GOOD. Haha! Arriving early, which is not a usual practice of CG, we realized we were earlier than Jeff&Irony! Anyway, we’ve to wait and queue outside regardless of the reservation under Miss Irony. Their dim sum was too popular!
Worth the wait… we had some really gooood food! I shall just pick a few to feature here! 😀
Just loooook at the custard buns! They’re Pail’s favorite, and soon became our favorites too!!!
This is a special dish named 一口爽, it’s Century Eggs in Lemon Sorbet. Review was, 并没有很爽… 可是很酸leh!
Another speciality on their menu, XO Pan-Fried Carrot Cake. Yums!!
小笼包~ very thin and clear skins wrapped up the meat and soup in there, you ought to be careful when you bite! Soup will spill all over the place!
Lastly, they missed out my Char Siew Su, and almost missing the last plate of Egg Tarts, that were served at the very last second. This is the best Egg Tarts I’ve eaten!! Even better than the Portuguese Egg Tarts from Macau! The crust is soooooo light and loose, yet crisp! Droooooools… Yummms!!
Heh.. another objective of meeting up on May day, is…. we still owe Yan her birthday present!! So sorry that the belated present came so god damn late!! It’s a Chiffon Mini dress.. that came with a belt, and we topped that up with a pair of ear-rings, all wrapped up in a beautiful box by Miss Irony. Well, you see, that’s the thing about placing orders online.. especially for birthday gifts! They do not arrive on time!!! Grrrrr… Cobalt blue was the top choice, but we recalled Yan wore a very nice blue dress to attend her friend’s wedding! Haha.. so I picked Fuchsia instead! WOoooooo… not knowing if she will like it, we just felt that chic colors suit Yan very well! Heehee..
Cancelled my appointment at Liang Court Partyworld, forsaking Tampopo.. we headed over to International Building Partyworld. Hoho.. as usual, Angela arrived later due to M-E-E-T-I-N-G-S, with her super belated present for Yan too. A Laneige Lipstick! Haahaa~
While Odin went to settle his coffee fix, we started our singing session, and ta-da! He returned with some “snacks” from the Isetan’s Hokkaido’s Fair! Oh my, yummylicious! Partyworld snacks were immediately put aside and abandoned. Haha! Btw, I realized somethin about my singing sessions lately, ever since I become a loyal and faithful Mayday fan, I started to listen less of other music! Haha! I have no songs to sing at KTV already! What happened to the Suki Jukebox? I have to buck up to maintain my reputation!! Haha!!

LOL~ Aircon at the karaoke was too cold, so we borrowed blazers from Partyworld again.
Mr & Mrs Smith? wahahahahahaa…

Ok, now I start to find this entry a bit too long!!
Stay tuned for more fun for our dinner and “stroll” after dinner!!
