Oh gosh.. I would have missed out seeing this if Norman haven’t informed me! LoL~~ We thought we were safe coz last Sunday’s New Paper (article here) didn’t publish our photo.. who knows, it appeared on mypaper today!! Hahaa… but I think I looked kinda stupid as I din managed to squeeze into the mirror… *extra* =p

The “Doing a Karen Cheng” thingy almost strained my energy, and to make things worse, stupidly, I forgot my office staff pass, I couldn’t head back to office as planned to change for the BBQ ltr of the day! Damn idiotic lah.. had it all planned, brought all my stuffs to office on Fri, and now i can’t enter my office!! Ergh.. walked around in the dress and heels, trying to get another cab… it was a Saturday afternoon lah.. no cabs in sight lorr… damn 狼狈. Walked and walked, decided I had better make my way back to the train station lah. Back home, chop chop get changed and since it was a BBQ at ECP, decided to tie up my hair lor.. took another cab from home, rushed all the way down to Parkway Parade to meet the peeps. Spotted B from far.. and that’s what I got.
B: Wah I thought which auntie came to touch me,
nearly want to scold people liao..
Me: Auntie!?!!
B: Ya lor.. why u dress so old ahh.. like an auntie lehh…
Me: Huhhhhh… really ah.. really look very auntie mehhh…. 🙁
B: *shake head
Me: Ok lor.. I reach here only u tell me such things.. I better go home then.
*Walks away to find the rest
B turns to his gal “D”. See.. she really looked like some auntie who juz permed her hair, tied up.. come buy groceries rte..
Me: *STARES at him, irritated, and ask him to shuddup.
D: Aiyah… did she ask for your opinion, stop it lah..
B: Really mahh.. u see ah…………….*still insisting his point.
*S walks away. Dejected. Sore.

Okay, admit it. We all love taking pictures in front of the mirror… at home, in fitting rooms, in the Ladies… anywhere, everywhere! Haha!
So Karen Cheng came up with this thingy… I think it all came from her posed pix, which some call it the “The Karen Cheng Pose” and this thingy got into a larger scale. Haha..
It’s indeed a nice experience.. waking up early (ok not so nice for waking up early), dressing up (oh yes, i begin to appreciate the dressing up for events), attending events (especially for charity!)… Thanks to Karen who organised such an event for charity with Red Cross, and of course, thanks to Tricia who asked me along. Hahaa.. u see, u’ve been reading someone’s blog for some time, u seem to know her well enough, and now u meet her in person, taking pictures together, doing something for charity together. I might not be able to describe this well enough… lol.. Btw, I heard there were a few photographers, one from the New Paper too. Look out for this event’s photos on papers!! Hehee..
