Ok~ Although there were some hiccups on the meet-up, but still thanks to YQ for the free tix!! Havin heard so much “dark” yet “5-stars-excellent” reviews.. plus a lil’ spoiler I heard.. I was actually still damn looking forward to the movie.. yet afraid it might be too heavy.. too tiring.. or too long.. worried perhaps I might fall asleep?

Nope, I didn’t, the plot was tooo good for anyone me to lose a minute of attention. Every time we tot it’s about to end, Joker has something else up his sleeves… which gave me chills whenever there’s a close-up on him. *Thumbs up lah! And perhaps the fact is it’s Heath Ledger as the Joker, hence, it’s the first time we learnt to appreciate The Joker with a deeper sense of emotions. Every character in the movie had their own lines and emotions to follow.. Bruce, Joker, Rachel, Harvey, Fox, Alfred, Gordan.. and even those prisoners!

It’s a movie all about 人性! 果然发人深省~ The Joker said somethin that rings me a bell, recently I just told a friend the same thing.. but of course I meant less freaky than where he’s comin from! “It’s not all about money… it’s about the message it matters!!” People of this city has lost their meaning in life.. grabbing every sec, every chance, to climb up the corporate ladders and earn as much as they can, irregardless of how much stress they have to undertake. And if they couldn’t reach their aims, they get depressed and descpicable.. is money really the only motivation to keep people going? How about living a life, how about the happiness??

Oh yah.. everyone was saying The Dark Knight will be so heavy-hearted.. so dark… honestly, at first I assumed the DARK knight was refering to the Joker… Haha.. coz u always refer white to the good, and black to the bad. But I probably forgot, Batman “works” in the dark!! And indeed, I do agree, no matter how good one is, there is a dark side! Hee.. the key just lies in which side overrides the other!

Well, I was never a fan of Superhero movies.. and let alone superhero cartoons/animations. But I find that I quite liked Batman.. u know.. handsome.. rich.. all the high technology.. and such a self-sacrificing hero! Hard to resist!! Haha… unlike the Spidey who looked quite 娘 with his shooting web…. Batman is much more stylo!!! So hey people.. so this is indeed a great movie!! Must see ok~! =D

No harm also adding these notes for u peeps out there..
1) There is nothing after rolling credits, so don’t have to wait!
2) All the big hoo-ha about Edison Chen starring in The Dark Knight, he merely appeared like 3 seconds. But to me, there is no difference whether it’s 3 seconds or 3 minutes lah.. he is still a care-leh-fare!!
3) Duration is 153 minutes.
4) Sadly, just in case u stayed in caves, The Joker (Heath Ledger) has already left us… but this is indeed a great masterpiece he leaves behind for us.
