Our First 10km Run… oops, or is it 10km Walk for me? Haha.. So worried it might run during the run, heng ah~ it drizzled abit and stopped once we started. Keke.. we were all warmed up and ready to go~ but waited and waited.. until my enthusiam abit cooled off leh..
Is TIRED de lorrrrrrr.. before I reached 5km, my legs gave way liao.. how on earth did people finish 10k in 34minutes? Siao ah! Especially when there were so many bottlenecks.. u hv to stop and walk and run, stop and run and walk! then the slopes up and down leh.. haha but running along City Hall, Shenton Way, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay.. it was FUN!
Too bad the traffic wasn’t totally blocked.. so we had to run with cars, buses moving beside us.. air wasn’t fresh kinda air lor.. and because of the rain before the run.. I could still smell rain and mud during the run! Now I really don’t dare to look at the timing man.. lol! I guess “志在参与，不在比赛!” will be a good way to console myself! Haha!
I tot i will wake up to body aches.. or sore legs.. but hey, i’m ok lehh!! heh heh.. juz tired. Hee.. but seriously, I need a new pair of running shoes, my pair of Asics are giving me too much problems! Now my legs muscles are fine, but not the toes!! No blisters this time.. but somehow there is pain in my toes. Sigh.
Totally shagged after the run, but our dear fren here is still very enthu to take some pix with her new Nikon cam~ I din even have to take out my cam.. hahaha.. she says we already taken 80pix before i knew it! -_-”
