We gotta find that 美都餐厅~ Mido Cafe. so, no matter what.. haha.. Lui was more persistant than me. I was worried we wasted too much time finding our way, I asked if she wants to settle down at any cafe along the streets.. She said it’s ok, we shall just find it! Hee.. so there we are! Keke..

There u see the boss, he warned us not to snap pictures of people.. Keke.. Then, we went upstairs.. and everything was so retro so old! Hehehe.. This cafe has 50 years of history!!

I had a hard time choosing from the menu. Then I saw the signboard 远近驰名50年锔排骨饭。That shall be my first meal of the day! RICE!! Muahahaa…. Lui also got stuck staring at the menu, and she ordered 鸡丝通粉. Hee.. I was teasing her why is she eating something sooooo Peiyu? Kekeke.. I was just wondering why the menu don’t have 蛋塔 and 菠萝油? Then we saw the table beside us being served 菠萝油. We immediately called for the waiter and placed our orders. Kekeke.. together with a cup of 鸳鸯… Hongkies, what a great way to start a day with a sumptuous and delicious breakfast! 100% Satisfaction guranteed. 😀

Made our way to Disneyland.. very far ahh.. Have to change train at Admiralty MTR station.. and walk a damn long walkway.. then change to disneytrain at Sunny Bay again. Phew~ Sweatz…

I was testing the outdoor camera settings.. so I shot a lot of.. erm.. strangers. Haha.. you will feel happiness seeing families enjoying themselves at Disneyland. 🙂

Fairy tales are beautiful.. you can’t resist them. But do they exist at all?

We almost thought the SGD$70 entrance fee was such a waste.. bad weather was even more mood-dampening. Raining!! Cats & Dogs!! And my bag was filled with camera, so I couldn’t stuff another umbrella in. So I had to buy a disney umbrella from their push carts.. that cost me SGD$30!!! Damn.. bloody shit. Like HQ says, I kena 砍菜头 BIG TIME man… and the worst thing is, the umbrella is spoilt the very same night!! ERGH~~

Just as we were about to step outta Disneyland, Lui thought of looking thru the disney map again. And we saw Fantasy World!! *BINGO* Take pictures with the Disney characters!! Now the entrance fee is sooooo worth it. Seeing these pictures, I can feel we were smiling from the bottom of our hearts! This kinda smiles are definitely different from normal smiles! Heheehe.. 原来我还有童真!

There is a 小小插曲 here.. of me and Goofy. Hee.. He was trying to welcome me, but his huge nose HIT me really hard on my forehead. OUCH! Pain leh!! I was rubbing my head, he was sorry.. and he kept sayang-ing my head. Muahahahahaa… 😀

Did you realize something soooo 史无前例?? Suki is standing beside a… C A T leh! OMG~ I must have gone crazy.

Leaving Disneyland, we couldn’t head for our planned destination, the Peak. Thanks to the rain. >.< So we changed to go SHOPPING at Tung Chung CityGate Outlet Mall. Hee.. our legs were actually giving way by then. Who can resist a scoop of Summer Berries at Haagen Daz? Hehehee..

Heh.. outlets there are really cheaper than normal boutiques!! I was thinking of finding a new wallet there.. but spotted this bag at Kate Spade. Gosh.. it’s on 50% discount lor!! So niceeee.. hee hee.. am still thinking of it now lor!! But ok lah.. I guess I should spend on the same amount on my 35mm lens. Kekeke.. 忘了她，忘了她吧~~~ :p Let’s get back to hotel for some rest, had a late dinner (again)! Hahaha… Spotted a newly opened 茶餐厅 below our hotel~~ But the boss and waiters were so unfriendly, the cafe was so quiet.. we declare it The Most Awkward Dinner. 最尴尬的晚餐~ LOL~~ and we exchanged dishes today.. Lui ordered 茄蛋饭 and I ordered 扬州炒饭.. Keke..

What’s next.. more SHOPPING till midnight loh~~ Hehehee… and LOTSA snacks & goodies!!

Today there is only one place on our itenary.. i.e. MACAU.

Hee… we were thinking of eating portuguese eggtarts.. steamed milk.. pork chop bun.. so we skipped proper breakfast, juz ate the leftover kuey in our fridge. Headed straight to the ferry terminal. Heh.. we asked the hotel staff for directions, and realized, oh it’s so EASY. We shall take a 15min bus ride to the ferry terminal..

Bought our ferry tix that’s leaving in half an hour.. the staff asked if we had our passports. OMG, need passport ah!? Shucks.. why nobody tell me that? 傻傻的! Haha~ He offered to postponed our ferry tix to a later timing, so that we can head back to hotel. Sigh.. Ok lor.. but what’s the way back to hotel!? Intended to take a quick ride back by cab.. NONE of the taxi drivers understand English name of our hotel, nor the English streetname of out hotel. Fine! Take bus then.. but no coins!!! ERghhh.. the auntie waiting for buses beside us suggested we go 7-11 to buy somethin for change of coins.. Ok Lor~~

没事的，小小波折阻挡不了我们！Keke.. we still boarded the 1:00PM Turbojet ferry. HEe.. I put myself to deep sleeeeep.. to avoid boat sickness. Lui was impressed that I can sleep so soundly anywhere, anytime. On plane, on MTR train, on ferry and on bus… LOL~~

Arrived at Macau, total LOST. Insufficient research done lah.. no idea where to go at all! Nvm, there is always an information counter.. and helpful hotel staff to approach. Hee.. hopped onto The Venetian shuttle bus to see the famous beautiful hotel. It was so huge that I felt like we can never walk outta it…

Next, how to go Taipa Village? I approached the security guards out there..
Me: “Hi, How do we go to Taipa Village from here?”
Him: “See that telecommunication tower over there? Walk towards it shld be able to find!”
Me: So FAR and under the blazing sun.. “Err.. Is walking the only option?”
Him: “Yes.. very near only. About a 15min walk bah!”
Us: *Stunned*

Ok.. we made a couple of wrong turns, but still managed to see Taipa Village at last. Keke.. First Meal of the day: 猪排包，猪排面，餐蛋面，宁可，杏仁霜，葡塔!! Heee.. it’s a very lok kok 路边摊 like stall.. but many people are eating there. Looooks gooood~~ Keke.. we were starved already!

Walked around the place.. bought some almond biscuits. Hee.. but we didn’t go too in depth to this culture tour.. Ma Zu Temple.. Ne Zha Temple.. Tian Hou Temple.. now, How to go to Ruins of St Paul… 大三巴牌坊?? We saw a bunch of Cheena tourists talking about 新马路, heard that Ruins of St Paul Church is at there~ Ok, we shall follow them! They alight, then we just follow! Muahahaha..

Alighted the bus, we walked and walked………walked and walked…. then found our way. Hee… series of picture-taking.. I already had some of the pix in my mind before going. So we go Snap Snap Snap.. Snap Snap Snap! LOL~~ Soooo tired!!!!! But so happy! Haha~! We do not have any more energy to go over to Senado Square.. nor do we hv any idea on the directions back to Ferry Terminal. So I approached the 警察阿姨 again! Keke.. Ok~ Bus 10 or 10A back to Ferry Terminal. Hee…

On the ferry, I slept like log again.. Muahaha… back in HK Kowloon, DINNER TIME! 茄蛋饭 and XO炒饭.. 冻宁 and 宁可.. Hohohoh…. rested enough? More night shopping at Mongkok~ Hohoh.. I reallly love it when I am shopping at 12AM~ Wahahahaa… and yet still got MTR back lor!! Shiok rte… I tot I needed some 龟苓膏 so it’s 许留山时间 again! Keke.. Lui ordered 炖蛋.. Hehee… we din managed to eat it in Macau.. so we shall eat it in HK! Keke…

Was sooo damn busy at work in morning.. had a meeting and a short UAT walkthrough with my user.. then rushed home, get changed, rushed out to pick up Lui… off we go to Singapore Airport! Hee.. see the very weird and funny masks we were wearing! Hoho, bought from Guardian! Not cheap loh! But I abandoned them once I saw Hello Kitty masks in HK. Kekeke…

Our flight was afternoon 3plus.. stil got time to eat Popeyes! Keke.. finally we are not the last to board the plane! Hehehe.. reached Hong Kong around 8plus.. checked in to hotel, and went seeking for fooooood! Keke.. realized, on average, every 2 shops I walked past, there is a japanese restaurant! Wooohoo.. we saw this very cosy and packed sushi bar restaurant.. named Tokyo Sushi along Yau Ma Tei. In we go, kekeke.. and so, our first meal in Hong Kong is Japanese Ramen! Hehehehe.. after dinner, we walked around Mongkok area see see look look.. Hoho.. the weather there is ok wor~ not cold, but at least more cooling than Singapore!! Keke.. we bought Mister Softee ice-cream from the van. And hohoho.. no kidding, it’s sooooo smoooth and nice!!! OMG~ love it! Heh.. see Daniel Wu HUGE poster? It’s a very significant landmark, to signal us where are we already!! 😀

I was supposed to contact Canny once I reach HK, I sent a couple of sms-es over.. but no replies. Hmmm maybe she slept already? I try again next morning.. but stil no reply. I woke up and suddenly remember, she told me, I have to add +852 in front to contact her! Alamak, I didn’t do that~~ No wonder she din reply!!! And have I mentioned, those sms-es w/o country code, were sent back to Singapore to some unknown! I got a sms scolding me “Pls stop sending sms to this number, u got the worng number!!” Hahahaa… and tat dragged a bit of time for Canny to get out of bed, prepare and travel over to our hotel for the meetup. Hee.. at last, still managed to meet up lah.. so fun. 😀

When she learnt that I was going to HK, we decided to meet up!! Ha! So I brought some Bak Kut Teh 湯包 over for her.. Keke.. hope they taste good bah.. I haven’t tried them myself before. Hee.. I was still worrying what language shall we communicate in, but to my surprise, she speaks perfect mandarin!! OMG~ I think it’s more accurate than ours! No mixture of english, no cantonese accent. Perfect! Hahaa.. we walked over to a dim sum restaurant.. if I din remember wrongly, it was 倫敦大酒樓 or somethin? Hehee.. then I realized we all love cheong fun! Hahaa… Yummy!

After our dim sum brunch, she brought us to a CD shop that she’s very friend-friend with the boss.. that’s where I bought my 五月天 搖滾本事 DVD~ Keke.. a very very small CD shop.. very packed and cramped, but very crowded with 識貨的人. Hee.. :p

Then we went separate ways.. Hee.. Lui and I went over to HK Island Causeway Bay. Hee.. shopping time! Woohooo.. I found my office desk plant~~ It’s 2 very tiny pots, with seeds and soil packed inside.. Keke.. I just started growing them today. Will update my blog on this later on.. keke…

Actually clothes are kinda expensive there, so at a point of time, we walked aimlessly.. and we ended up in wet markets! WAhahaah.. fun. Colorful fresh veggies.. fresh alive and still jumping fishes.. and crowds.. so they do their wet market shopping at 3pm in the afternoon? Hoho.. but to our surprise, Lui pulled my arm with excitement~ POOT ZAI GOU!! Hohohohoh.. seeked high and low.. and there it is.. lying in front of our eyes!! Hoho.. YUMMY!

That settled one of my cravings.. but very soon, it was dinnertime. Time to settle another craving.. cravings since 3 years ago. 烧鹅, 烧肉, 叉烧饭! Hahaha!! The boss also very friendly.. chatted with us a bit.. Keke then we ate to our fullest.. MEAT!! I realized, I truly enjoy eating from a plate of rice, using a chopsticks and a soup spoon! Muhahahahaa… 不要再説我怪了，香港人都是這樣吃的！Haha! 好，吃飽飽了~ 繼續瞎拼！Keke..

Back to Mongkok, I settled another of my cravings.. 咖喱魚蛋！Hohoh.. but tat made my throat damn itchy.. and started coughing. So I decided we shall have some 许留山 雪蛤红枣莲子汤! While Lui had her 杨枝干露~ Heeee… back in hotel, we had to do the tradition of shooting our 戰利品 for the day~ hey, I juz can’t resist buying CD/DVDs! Keke.. and we keep stepping into every Sasa and Bonjour shops we see… Keke.. and also, the Esprit outlets were on SALE! Really nice and cheap!! Geeez..

Hee.. total damage..
