This trip was indeed a lil’ bit different from 2yrs back.. we chose to go up to \u5357\u6295\uff0c\u6e05\u5883 in Taichung! Thanks to Keowlin who introduced me to the direct coach bus, that made our trip much easier!! And also, Ruyi’s taiwanese friend who called and booked the coach tickets for us~ haha.. No, we didn’t go to \u65e5\u6708\u6f6d, cos its all foggy and we wouldn’t see any sun, moon or lake. It was a great choice going to \u6e05\u5883 instead, cos we got to go up to \u5408\u6b22\u5c71, which was unbelievably SNOWING!!!<\/p>\n

\u62b5\u8fbe\u6e05\u5883\u534a\u5c71\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u53e3\u6c14\u90fd\u662f\u70df\u3002\u5bf9\u4e8e\u751f\u957f\u5728\u70ed\u5e26\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\u6211\u4eec\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u5947\u89c2\uff5e \u597d\u73a9\uff01\u6211\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u5410\u6c14\uff01\u54c8\u54c8\uff01<\/p>\n

Oh man.. w\/o any reservations.. we got a room for FOUR at the price of TWO! Heh.. amazing scenery and in\/exterior design at \u666e\u7f57\u65fa\u65af, it’s basically a villa lor!! Look at their cafe.. the place where their guests are gonna have their meals there. We felt like sibeh rich taitais sitting down for high-tea! LOL~<\/p>\n

Checked into our bedroom… wOooooooooooow!!! TV, sound system, two huge beds, a balcony, a wooden bathtub, most importantly, an electronic bed warmer mat beneath our sheets.. there was a REAL fireplace u can reaally add charcoal, first time I experienced the WARMTH from a fireplace! Haha…<\/p>\n

Who would expect their first time seeing snow would happen in Taiwan?!? lol.. it was no kidding, freaking cold!!! With no thermal wear, juz a jacket, and jeans.. did i mention? My boots were non-waterproof ones! oh man.. we just decided to go up \u5408\u6b22\u5c71!! The driver who drove us up, assured us we could get ourselves some gloves and ear muffs at the 7-11.. that’s the best we could get us a lil’ more prepared, but they are UGLY!!! We had to get off the van on the way while he chained the wheels.. SHIVERRRRRR!!!!!!!!! I almost wanna give up going up.. my nose was as RED as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer~~ Hahaa…<\/p>\n

It was fun to play with snow, but temperature wasn’t cold enough, the snow ain’t fluffy enough, it was more like ice falling, and it hits hard on the face! Haha.. we had to go back to the car to get some warmth every now n then. There were snowman everywhere.. some were built in front of their car engines! So cute.. I wonder how the drivers can drive with snowman in front? hehee..<\/p>\n

See the steep stairs covered with snow? I had difficulty climbing down.. the people there told me repelling down is easier.. but I didn’t have the energy.. I was shivering! I decided to slide down like I was in the playground.. lol.. and see, Ruyi did the same as me~~ Haahaa!<\/p>\n

See the bottom left pic of me? If you can see white dots on my hair.. I was telling Ruyi, they looked like dandruff to me! Hahahaa.. an old couple overheard me, and laughed at us.. hahaa… but they continued saying, yea! looked like dandruff indeed! LOL~<\/p>\n

Happy 2010!! What a great way to start the year.. SNOW LEH!!!<\/p>\n

Had enough fun.. we couldn’t withstand the cold any longer.. and told the driver, pls bring us back to our minsu… haha.. Rest of the day is R&R~~~ nowhere to go in such rainy weather, and it was also foggy everywhere. We could only push \u6e05\u5883\u519c\u573a and \u5c0f\u745e\u58eb\u82b1\u56ed to the next morning… Heh.. u noe, the beds are soooooo comfy, we dozed off and almost miss our dinner!! Hohoho.. the minsu lady called up and reminded us that we only have 20min left to eat, they are gonna clean up their kitchen soon. Rushed down for dinner, hmmm the food was so-so home-cooked cream pasta.. >.<\n\n

A lil hiccup here, everythin was not functioning well under such cold temperature!?! As I was using the hair dryer to dry my soaked boots after the snow.. SMOKE started to come out…. the hair dryer was overheated n stopped working! lol.. my international usb charger plug also stopped working halfway!! oh man.. iPod also went into coma (only came conscious later when we got back to Taipei, phew!)<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, it was still the best night sleep I’ve had throughout the whole trip, with the bed warmer… I adjusted it to the highest temperature and I’m into deep sleep! Hahaa.. but we woke up to see it was raining in the morning!! *gasps*<\/p>\n

Heh.. but we are still going to see meh-meh-sheeeeep tomorrow!
\nHee! And taking \u5feb\u94c1 back to Taipei! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
