Can’t believe it that I’ve been struggling with this unresponsive Home button for months~ just a few weeks after I got my iPhone4, I noticed the Home button wasn’t responding, I had to use my Activator to assign a Double-tap action to perform the App Switcher. At first, I even bought the Home button sticker and ended up making so many outgoing calls unconsciously. If you also have the same problem with me, no harm trying this~?

How I use the Activator

Settings -> Activator -> Anywhere -> Double Tap Status bar -> Activate Switcher.

How to re-calibrate my iPhone Home button

Step 1: Open any stock app, I opened the Weather app.

Step 2: Press and hold your power button until “slide to power off” appears and release.
(Do not instinctively go slide and off your phone ok..)

Step 3: Press and hold your Home button until the “slide to power off” goes away, and the app force quits.

Your iPhone’s Home button should now be more responsive, because it has been re-calibrated.

Yes, I got bored and changed my blog theme again~~~~ Haha!

I browsed and browsed on the WordPress themes library.. of course only the FREE ones… oh man, the premium ones are so nice! but anyway, ta-daaa… i found this Yoko theme by Elmastudio.. at first I thought it’s Elmo.. lol… and re-customized into MY THEME. Heh heh heh… be it any theme, it gotta be re-customized into HOT PINK always.. Kekekeke..

Heh.. we enjoy train bentos alot, but bentos in Japan are much more pricey than Taiwan’s.. sobs sobs.. it’s a longgg longgg ride to Hakodate. Pail’s neck pillow from Muji comes in just handy!

Arrived at Hakodate, this is a really beautiful place to immerse yourself in thoughts. There was snow on the grounds, but it wasn’t snowing yet.. I love this shot very much!

Staff at the Hakodate JR Station Information Desk actually spoke good English, so it wasn’t too bad.. we managed to find our way to our Puppytail Pension.. but it was closed! Awww.. stuck standing in the cold winds, I grabbed the 暖暖包 like sooooo precious…. hahahaa.. see how wrapped up we are.

Pail called the pension boss to check, then only we know check-in time is 3pm, we are early! Nevertheless, the boss drove right over to open the doors for us, offering us 暖暖包s and to keep our baggages for us.. how niceee..

We are going to the Hakodate Ropeway~ woohooo…. can’t wait to see more of this lovely place! You can see, they even wear scarfs for the statues by the roadside! so cute…

It was a pretty steep hill slope, so most of the time, I’m tagging behind Pail.. you probably will see many backview shots of him.. Haha.. we need to climb up the slopes and walk quite a distance before we reach the ropeway.. I love almost every shot here..

We went up there.. and ran out to the cold winds.. woooohoooo.. no kidding. Snowing is not cold, it’s the WINDS that will freeze u!!! Look at my hair.. Hahahahaa flying in all directions..

We took the cable car back to the snow grounds.. and venture into the churches and parks..

Right here.. up the stairs. Pail had another slip and fell right in front of my eyes again.. I was laughing to the max until I couldn’t stand still. Now that I recall the scene, I want to laugh again!

Sky is turning dark (not again!)… time to look for our dinner place. We were told there is this very GOOD Burger Place here.. hohoho… just nice, fits our bill. Let’s look for it..

We even took a walk in the supermarket to seek some warmth.. haha! And walking outta it.. sky has turned dark already! Oh man… dinner, where are you???

Found ya!! LUCKY BURGER!! I like this name… lucky lucky!

The decor in there is so nice! Every little corner gets my attention… and the best part is, INDOORS NOT SO COLD~ Muahaha.. can take a sit and rest our feet…. and enjoy our dinner~~ Mmmmm….

We took this tram to the Hakodate Goryokaku Tower..

it’s a star-shaped fort with five bastions, built according to the French style after Japan was opened at the end of the Edo Period, to strengthen Japan’s defenses against foreign countries and the arrival of foreign ships. The area is now Goryokaku Park, and only the castle walls remain of Goryokaku itself, but in the spring over 1,500 cherry trees bloom, making the park famous for its cherry blossoms. Goryokaku Tower also stands nearby, with an observation deck 90 meters above the ground, providing a panoramic view of Mount Hakodate, the Tsugaru Strait, and the Yokotsu mountain range. Looking down, the star-shaped Goryokaku can also be seen.

Enough said, but as we arrived, it’s their CLOSING HOURS already. Haha! Ok la.. just take a walk in the park bah.. no cherry blossoms for us either..

At night, when we went back to the pension, everything was placed in our room already. Wonderful service huh? Love the Japanese style room sooooo much, I think we had our best night sleep there lorrr… even tho there is no Internet access. Really loveddddd it~~~ haha..

SUPPERTIME! Muahahaha… almost every night, we buy some supper from Lawson. Keke.. Pail picked this veryyy yummyyy Nissin BIG Cheese Meat Cup noodless…. slurppsssss slurrrpssss…. and the MELON Ice-cream, we thought it was very smart to leave it outdoors while we took our shower, it should be cold enough to keep it iced, but we were so wrong.. lol.. although the ice-cream melted quite a bit, but was still NICE~ Mmmmmm.. hehhehe…

As I’ve said, we had our best night sleep here, in the futon and beanie pillows.. I thought I will not enjoy non-fluffy pillows, but I was wrong again! It has very good support for our necks!! Haha..

Anyway, it’s time to hit down to the Morning Markets of Hakodate! We picked one that seems crowded and popular.. to enjoy our sumptuous breakfast!! Heh heh…

Strolled around the markets after breakfast, *burps*, and we saw the seaside.. and.. stayed around for awhile.. enjoying the last few moments of Hakodate.. oh man, we really love this place.. before we depart to our next destination…

Pail decided to bring me to Melt Cafe this year… For some BUFFET!! hoho…. we avoided the V.Day menu and crowds and only went on a Saturday instead…Teeheee

Look at the wide spread of food… I realized there’re more choices of Indian and Thai food here.. Not much Japanese choices.. probably just ard four types of sashimi.. Hmmmm… But still yummy.. We can’t wait anymore!!

This is the first time I’m going to Japan, the land of rising sun they call it. I’m really excited!! And it’s our honeymoon! Once in a lifetime~~~ a MONTH of long vacation. To dedicate this once in a lifetime to my dream to visit Japan, I think it’s very expensive meaningful too. Hehe.. If you are thinking of glamorous hotel stays and exquisite Japanese cuisines, I’m afraid you won’t be seeing much of that! Haha~ From hotels to our meals and shopping loots.. and to worrying about the luggage weight everyday, and to remind ourselves how high the Japanese YEN exchange rates have shot up to…. there’s only one word to describe: BUDGET!!!! Hee hee… but who says you can’t enjoy with a tight budget? It’s all up to us!

Look at the EVA AIR flight we took from Taipei!! Hello Kitty Flight eh~~~~~ Everything is in Hello Kitty shape and colors.. From the Air Ticket, to Pillows they give us.. and their Lunch Bento Sets with Utencils, even the Ice-cream~~~ Haha! So glad the air stewardess weren’t dressed as Hello Kitty mascots. LOL~ it’s kinda O_o” if you are like us, not a fan of Hello Kitty huh..

After a few hours of flight… we touched down to SNOWland!!!!

I don’t know why.. Air also feels fresher here… Haha! With our huge backpacks we borrowed from Yan, we pulled our luggages around Hokkaido Airport.. looking for the counter where you can Rent-A-Car!

BUT.. OOPPPPS….. !!!!!!

Aiyaaa….. we always change our wallet contents before we go for any trips, so that we do not bring unnecessary cards overseas.. and ta-da~ left the car license at home as well! Ok lor… be flexible be flexible. It’s OUR TRIP, we planned it, we execute it. Moods do not get dampened just like that. Hee hee! ENJOY TO THE FULLEST~ No car? Take trains!!! Move to the JR Train counters to purchase Hokkaido JR Pass then~ Hee hee..

Wow.. frankly speaking, travel research was done mostly for driving, now that we have to study the railway routes, things get a bit different. Heh.. but Pail is quite good with directions! Hoho.. heng ah!

It wasn’t snowing yet.. but.. Wooooooooooooooooooo~ damn cold! Even when we are in layers of heattech and the snow jackets borrowed from Arielle&Avin, the winds were blowinggggg and freezing us…

In the day, snow touched land and turned into ice… so by night time, we couldn’t even walk properly, let alone take any photos? Haha.. we were so STRUGGLING with our heavy suitcases and heavy backpacks up and down the flights and flights of stairs, then in the cold, back in the heat, and back in the cold, on the ice cold grounds.. slipping and slipping away on the slippery floors.. until we found our hotel like FINALLY?!? It was not too late, but sky has turned dark… Right at the door of our hotel, Pail was carrying both the suitcases, one in each hand.. he lost his balance, and slipped.. Weeee… there he went, *try picturing how one can slip on a banana skin*, yes, and he fell right on his bum! Ouch!!!!!

We checked in to MARKS INN, and changed into lighter backpacks, and made our way out again. See how I wrapped myself into a BA ZANG.. lol.. slowly, together, we learn how to walk on ICE, side by side, holding on to each other, so that none of us will fall!!

FIND FOOD! WE NEED FOOD! Haha! There’s this Ramen Alley in Susukino.. but it was so quiet on the roads, and in the alley… maybe it was too cold, or maybe it was too early, or too late? No idea… it was just so 冷冷清清 de.. we just walked in to one of the ramen house, and see this very nice and friendly old chef. I asked for his permission to take a photo, and he actually smiled at my camera~ Hee hee.. so cute. As expected, everything was written in Japanese, so we ordered the no-fail SHOYU RAMEN and SHIO RAMEN. Haha!

As you can see from the NHK clock tower, it was only 8pm, and it’s so dark already~~~ roads were as quiet too.. we strolled around the Park, and saw the church.. the grounds were still as slippery, but it was not snowing.

On the way back to Marks Inn, we had to take train for 1-2 stops, but we waited for around 30 to 40 minutes, there were no sight of trains. We saw that the locals waited patiently too, some of the girls even squatted down waiting. Until we heard some announcements in Japanese, we followed the locals to walk up back to the control station. The train station staff were on stand-by answering questions by the local passengers one by one, in a polite and systematic way.

One of the staff sticked a notice up explaining why there was no trains, the only four words we understood was “人身世故”. Oh so that’s how they handled train faults in Hokkaido. Haha.. locals behaved like they were very used to it, they just walked out and headed towards else where. The staff told us, from Odori, we can just WALK back to Susukino.. there’s an Underground Shopping Mall along the way. Haha.. how nice!

But.. but.. to our dismay.. this was what we saw. An Empty Mall.
We only recalled much later that it was Public Holiday for them because it was the 2nd January. No wonder all the shops are closed, and the roads are so quiet!

IT IS SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff at Marks Inn were very nice and kind, even though we are checking out.. they offered us an umbrella, The Plastic Transparent Umbrella. Now we know how USEFUL the transparent umbrella is! We bought them around everywhere.. can use it to block the winds, block the snow.. and block the rain!

眼看天快黑了啦，～_～ 话不多说，马上出发往台中彩虹村去！

理位置有些隱密, 我们搭乘小黄计程车到了，都几乎找不到，还以为拆了呢～～～
彩虹眷村其实不一下子就逛完，地方不大，但却看得出都是老兵阿伯的心血~

好像是需要大众筹款来帮忙眷村

整个村好彩色，看了心情大好！

虽然不是每一幅图画都看得懂，可是还是觉得很棒！

每每去台湾玩，都觉得看到旧旧的东西就觉得很亲切，很唯美。忍不住要多按记下快门。

天也真的转暗了，玩够了。是时候回逢甲夜市大开杀戒了！

在吃了不知道多好小吃后，才觉得好像有点饱了。其实还有很多没吃到，但两个人的力量（胃）有限啊！
由于限制了自己不能乱买，要留着行李箱的重量和位子到日本才来血拼！就去夜市的另一旁逛逛，随便走马看花好了～ 以下这张照片是我突然闪神以为自己在香港了呢！哈哈，超像的。而且，这趟来到台湾，好多香港旅客喔～ 哈哈～

因为贪它地点超好的！下楼就到逢甲夜市～哈哈，这趟旅程都选择住在夜市附近，正和贪吃馋嘴的我们的意！

走出民宿，看到街头的小店铺，才发现原来羅東人很有小点子创意呢。小小的镇却心意十足。还看到总统选举的海报，有点好笑 :p

远远看到贪吃的我，手里拿着「張君雅小妹妹」零食，边走边吃。PAIL都走远了，往回头看，我还在后面呢～ 哈哈

呵呵，不好意思，这就是我们的婚戒啦～ 很明显有钻的是我地！♥

出发是为了往羅東林場走去！

在台湾似乎不难看到铁路喔～ 不免还是要JUMP一下！嘻嘻～

台湾人爱狗，逛夜市也带狗狗，林场也是爱狗之人喜欢去的？应该是这里有广阔的空间可以让狗狗跑动吧？ 搞怪的PAIL又再和木头人一起摆POSE了～

吃饱饱，步行5分钟就回到了民宿。睡觉！
隔天到了民宿提义的早餐店吃早餐，有折扣！你看，有好吃的早餐吃，整个人都精神了呢！

我的标题写着“台北去哪里”，可是好像是版面有点BUGGY, 我查了很久都没办法，中文字就是不能在标题打出来~ *纳闷* ANYWAY, 这次想来点不同的BLOG法，不会是DAY 1 DAY 2形式，而是地点的形式..

赖皮地老实说…… 虽然这次的蜜月旅行是台北+日本，但是我分得很清楚！台北不算蜜月啦~ 哈哈哈！日本才算！我们是去台北看演唱会和跨年的~ :p 日本的照片我还没搞定，就先从台北开始写吧！ 台湾真是个好地方，让人开心自在又悠闲，好像每次都发现新大陆。怎么会那么多宝，台湾不愧是宝岛啊！

提着超级无敌笨重的行李加背包，我们带着二十几天的包袱上机咯！PASSPORT COVER还是要秀一下，是去年生日礼物来的～HEH HEH… 我发现上飞机，最好别别化妆，所以戴墨镜最好！哈哈~ 我们拍的是我IPHONE手机的第五百五十五张照片！娃哈哈哈哈哈，其实早就破千了，只是一直在删除，但对“五”这个数字情有独钟，因为这次飞台湾的目的之一是…… 看五月天！哈哈！

当晚就跑到士林市场，不叫士林夜市啦？哈哈，原本的士林已经不怎么样了，可是听说装修了，搬迁了，好奇心作祟又想去瞧瞧一下。所以还是去了……　哎哟，简直是太浪费我们的时间了。地点搬得比以前离剑谭捷运更远~ FAILx1! 地下街是吃的，人又多，空气也不流通，FAILx2! 食物也没什么变化，来来去去都是铁板烧，苦瓜汁，臭豆腐和蛤吖煎。楼上卖衣服卖东卖西的，真的找不到东西买，显得更是冷清。FAILx3! 听说当天有火种失灵，可是管理员找不到那一颗火钟，于是索性关了。中天新闻还派了新闻SNG连线车去报到～哈哈！FAILx4! FAILx5!!

图中是各天早上我们要搭乘葛马兰客运到宜兰罗东，所以到了台北转运站。装修过，粉刷过吗？看起来好新哦，里头好有规模，要去哪里，问一下柜台就会有指示到几楼买票等巴士。哈哈～赞! 还可以买便当在巴士上吃呢～～宜兰将是下一篇，敬请期待！

到处拍照，到处逛。在诚品逛，看到很多红包封套可以买，因为蜜月旅行回来就是农历新年，我们也要开始包红包了，看到了这个“荣”字红包，特别有意思！哈哈~ 也无意中在诚品看到了STAYREAL鼠~~

比起新加坡的设计，台北及时髦又可爱，就捷运来说，就美多了~ 你看，还有OPEN将的！欢迎旅客来台北也有特别可爱的熊猫~

中间跑了宜兰罗东和台中，搭了快铁回台北的下午。肚子饿扁了。随便就在西门町的阿毛餐厅解决了午餐，反正看到装潢很可爱！可惜不见狗狗阿毛~ 对于事物的结论是，还好。哈！

喫飯已经成为必去的地方！呵呵~ 怎么样都要安排来永康街吃一顿啦~ 这家猪油拌饭，猪肝，金瓜实在太太太好吃啦~~~~~~~~ *流口水*

应该马上就看到STAYREAL的战利品吧？哈哈!! 这次到了STAYREAL我竟然没有衣服买，我总觉得，我比较喜欢男生的T-SHIRT CUTTING，但不是S SIZE稍小就是M SIZE太宽松不好看…… 女生的长板TEE应该不错的，可是3/4 SLEEVE我嫌在新加坡穿会热死！哈哈~ 所以最终还是买了男版的S SIZE. 唯一吸引我们的是蜷川実花X 阿信限量版！:p　是在STAYREAL CAFE的STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN 蜷川実花 X 阿信｜天堂｜影像書 同名寫真展买的。展览实在太美了~~ 我频频惊叹照片怎么可以拍得如此色彩~ 如此动人！最后忍不住，买了三件T-SHIRT~ 哈哈～～～当时影像書还没开始售卖，我们是回来新加坡在KINO才买的。:D

这一天是12月29日，虽然说不要一天一天地BLOG，可是这日期很重要啊~ 是初登五月天《诺亚方舟》的日期！兴奋啊！！穿上了新买的STAYREAL，在还没抵达日本前，先品个宇治下午茶吧~ 抹茶好喝！

到了晚上，兴奋得我们已经站不稳了，终于可以在台北小巨蛋看演唱会！

而且还是五月天的巡回第一站《诺亚方舟》！连场7天，相信我之前也BLOG过抢票的过程啦，就花不多说了~ 小巨蛋看演唱会，感觉还真是不同凡响，感动程度和享受程度远远超过与新加坡. 哈哈！从捷运站沿途到小巨蛋，一路看到很多售卖荧光棒的摊位，才知道原来五月天蓝海那么出名啊！他们干脆就名为“五月天荧光棒”，加入了照片在卖！棒极了~ 巨蛋外，还有大荧幕，播放着五月天代言的广告！也搭起了STAYREAL期間限定店和演唱会商品的蓬，诺亚方舟起航啦！哈哈，还没进场，气氛已经极佳了！

在场外，也设立了寄给未来的瓶中信机器，我们各自写了祝福的句子，都SCAN了进去. 好玩！爽在，这是新加坡场没有的！ 哈哈！巨蛋里严厉地不能拍摄，连手机都不行拍。好吧，那就只有这几张偷拍的照片可以秀了~ 看不看到蓝海！！！！

看完演唱会，虽然没有平时在新加坡的精疲力尽，因为是在楼上，不能太大动作地乱跳，只能站着大唱。但情绪也未能平复，肚子也还是很饿呢~ 哈哈~ 所以决定去吃宵夜！“陈家凉面”是我同事介绍的，也常在《康熙》略有所闻，所以特地把他们拉去吃。冒着雨也要走过去！呵呵~ 不晓得是淋到雨了，还是唱得太起劲，我当天就大感冒！*叹*！

为了要跨年，我们定了一家靠近台北101的住宿，叫AT Boutique Hotel… 真的非常靠近，步行少过10分钟就到了！哈哈~ 为了是跨年当晚，不要人挤人，遇上很多交通上的问题 回不了饭店。哈哈~ 很未雨绸缪吧？哈哈，这家商旅可是非常美丽，服务也很好。哎呀，台湾的服务态度很少会差到哪里去的啦。我们CHECK IN后，除了到喫飯吃午餐，真个下午我都是卧病在床的。PAIL他们到了市贸那儿去看车展了~ 傍晚才回来找我。我可是为了晚上而努力地呼呼大睡，养足精神呢~ 哈哈。说也奇怪，睡了美丽的一觉，我的病也就神奇地康复了！所以说，好的环境，果然是可以痊愈地快一点！

看那人群，是跨年后，站在天桥上拍到的一张。我为这张照片命名为“人多势众”！哈哈~ 在台北跨年可能是天气凉，所以不觉得人多会焖。而且，我们是很现实的。看完了开场的五月天，我们就去吃饭了。哈哈哈哈哈……等到倒数跨年再挤回来吧~ 随便找了附近的餐厅，就进去了。好像是中国人开的吧？我连餐厅名字都忘了…… 填饱肚子就四处游荡，悠哉闲哉地。其实会离开人群是有原因的，往年在CABLE电视看跨年，来宾不是都很精彩吗？今年台北场怎么偏偏那么平凡啊… 叮当，草蜢，杨宗纬，还有谁我都忘了。哈哈…

在倒数跨年那一刻，还是非常澎湃的。101的烟火真的真的很美！美呆了~~~~ 我看得目不转睛，都傻眼了。跨年后的压轴表演嘉宾是罗志祥，我们也留到最后看完才走回饭店。哈哈~　走在被封的大马路上，实在太享受了。在冷冷的气候中漫步，也挺浪漫的嘛～～　Hee hee.. 回到饭店，开了TVBS台，直接在重播跨年节目，又再一次看到五月天开场。哈哈！别台还有力宏在高雄跨年的表演呢～爽呆了。

终于来到我们在台北的最后一天，一同到了淡水去逛街～终于来到了渔人码头，吃了鲁肉饭，吃了香肠，还在PORTER店大杀四方，连PAIL都情不自禁买了个背包。哈哈～是好看的咯～～～由于相机没电了，所以没拍什么照。

真的可以说是，我们不虚此行啊！

慢着！我还有宜兰罗东篇，台中篇要写，才到日本蜜月行！

.. I adore this poster more than the above. This photo totally brings out the hiao-ness! And how happy and proud they are of themselves in the beginning of the show. Walking towards a shelter during hard times. Well, if you carry on watching the show, you’ll feel a drastic change as they are faced with harsher Reality than the Reality they were already in then.. As I was watching the movie, I found them so noisy, I felt irritated, but later on, I started to appreciate their beauty. Haha..

And it sure breaks my heart seeing how students flee for their lives.. and how the Japanese soldiers kills without a sense of guilt….

Love this pic the most.. how she looks at the world through the stained glass. In the movie, through this stained glass in the church, the girls saw ALOT.

This time, the screening was held in Level 13 of Shaw, wow~ it was something NEW to us. Kekeke.. all cushion seats in a small theater. Very private. The last row was reserved for big bosses, I guess. There was even a telephone set up there! Very comfortable seats, though they are quite old already.. but I do have a question, is FOOD/DRINKS really prohibited in there? :p

Anyway, thanks OMY for the movie invite! ^.^
